13th Annual Marceline Train Show
Saturday, May 11, 2024
Since 2001, the Walsworth Community Center has been producing this free community event, bringing railroad fans together from around the region and around the State.
This year we’re inviting any railroad club to attend to share your collections or model train layouts. We’d love to have lots of layouts on display for the public. Vendors and community groups are always welcome.
Marceline exists because of the Santa Fe Railroad, so having the Marceline Train Show here honors our connection to one of the great American railroads. Volunteers and sponsors are coming together to make a great weekend of fun for families and rail fans of all ages.
Spread the word – tell your friends near and far – we’ll have model train layouts, train collectibles on sale, community vendors, food, attractions, and lots to see! So bring your cameras, your wallets, and your comfortable shoes, so you can enjoy the annual Marceline Train Show!
All proceeds support the Walsworth Community Center
Repaint the Loco and Caboose!
Engine #2546 has lived at Ripley Square in Marceline since 1955. Walt and Roy Disney took photos on the locomotive when they visited Marceline in 1956. Marceline also added the red ATSF caboose years later. These historic pieces of rolling stock remind us and our visitors of Marceline’s great railroad heritage as a former Missouri division headquarters for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway.
Help us cover the cost of repainting the steam locomotive and caboose… put your name on a brick to be placed in Ripley Square… $103 www.Marceline.us/brickorder
